Common Issues
Account and Connection
Account not connecting
Try these in order:
- Refresh the page.
- Disconnect and reconnect the account or wallet.
- Clear browser cache and try again.
- If using a wallet, make sure it is unlocked.
- If using social login, try the same provider again before switching providers.
Rides and Climbs
No climbs detected
Common causes:
- the ride was mostly flat
- climbs were below the current detection threshold
- GPS or elevation data was noisy
- the activity was not marked as cycling
Try a FIT upload if you started from a GPX file. FIT files often preserve more detail for timestamps and effort data.
I rode a known climb but did not get credit
The ride may not have matched the climb closely enough, or processing may not have completed.
Refresh after a few minutes. If it still does not show, re-upload the ride and compare the route against the climb in the app.
Ride stuck processing
Refresh and check whether the ride completed. If it is still stuck after a few minutes, upload the original FIT file if you have it.
CAL, DUNG, and Rewards
CAL not updating
Try these:
- Refresh the app.
- Wait a few minutes for processing and confirmation.
- Confirm the ride detected an eligible climb or effort result.
DUNG rewards not appearing
DUNG is not paid immediately after every ride upload.
Possible reasons:
- settlement has not finalized
- you do not currently hold an eligible Leaderboard, staker, or Local Legend role for that Climb
- rewards are available but have not been collected
- the relevant bucket carried forward because no seat or stake was eligible
Use BoulderScan if you want to inspect settlement state directly.
I am Founder. Why did I not get every reward?
Founder records who created the Climb. It does not automatically grant KOM, Leaderboard, Local Legend, staker, or reward positions.
Activity Sources
Strava or Garmin not syncing
Try these:
- Check that the integration is still authorized.
- Disconnect and reconnect the source.
- Confirm the activity is cycling.
- Wait a few minutes for new rides to sync.
- Use manual FIT upload if the source integration is delayed.
Data
I want to delete my data
Off-chain account data and connections can be removed from settings.
On-chain completions, deposits, record changes, and settlement outputs are permanent by design.
