Reward Splits
Reference for DUNG distribution and settlement behavior.
Tokens
| Token | When it appears | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| CAL | After counted ride effort | Ride rewards, deposits, staking |
| DUNG | After settlement | Rewards from eligible climb roles and Vaults |
CAL is awarded at ride time when a result is eligible. DUNG is distributed later through settlement.
Distribution Buckets
Each settled Climb/Vault distribution is split by role:
| Bucket | Share | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Record Royalty | 55% | All-time Leaderboard / Record Board |
| Stakers | 27% | CAL deposited into the Vault |
| Local Legend | 3% | Recent eligible activity |
| Protocol Treasury | 10% | Protocol operations |
| Protocol-Owned Liquidity | 5% | Liquidity support |
Unused amounts carry forward inside their own bucket. A dormant Local Legend seat does not transfer that bucket to Founder, stakers, or the Leaderboard.
Record Royalty
Record Royalty is paid to eligible all-time Leaderboard seats.
The protocol name for that all-time top 10 is Record Board. Its rank split is:
| Rank | Share of Record Royalty |
|---|---|
| 1 | 30% |
| 2 | 20% |
| 3 | 15% |
| 4 | 10% |
| 5 | 8% |
| 6 | 6% |
| 7 | 5% |
| 8 | 3% |
| 9 | 2% |
| 10 | 1% |
A board seat remains until faster rides change the board.
Stakers
Stakers deposit CAL into a Climb's Vault.
Stakers can earn DUNG from the staker bucket after settlement. Staking is capital support for a Climb; it does not create KOM, Leaderboard placement, or Local Legend status.
Local Legend
Local Legend is based on recent eligible activity.
If no eligible recent activity exists, the seat can become dormant. The Local Legend bucket carries forward inside the Local Legend bucket until an eligible seat returns.
Separate Roles
These roles can overlap, but they do not grant each other automatically:
- Founder: created the Climb
- KOM: current all-time fastest rider
- Leaderboard / Record Board: all-time top 10
- Local Legend: recent eligible activity
- Staker: deposited CAL into the Vault
